Why do companies outsource IT work to Indian and China?
This is because IT outsourcing is an inevitable cost-cutting
trend that companies follow to gain their competitive
advantages. China could be the next outsourcing powerhouse.
Chinese IT professionals cost roughly one-sixth of their
U.S. counterparts
China has 200,000 IT professionals employed in software
development and 50,000 new developers entering market each
year.
All the major global IT services firms have offshore
software development centers in China,
Accenture, Bearing Point, IBM, EDS, Tata, Infosys, and Wipro
to name a few.
Come and discuss various exciting IT outsourcing topics with
the like-minded IT professionals. We will talk about the
outsourcing market scene, key players, outsourcing
processes, methodologies and how you can help make a
difference!
Pugetsoft
is a Seattle based IT consulting firm specializing in
offshore IT services outsourcing to China.
It
has
developed strategic partnership with several key software
outsourcing in China to help U.S. companies to reduce IT
costs and achieve competitive advantages. The company
constantly looks for talented sales professional and
technical consultants to join its high-caliber team.

Dear

Seattle area Chinese communities -
Come
and enjoy a night of Chinese cultural music and dance by
famous local artists, many of them are world renowned and
award winning performers. At the same time, you will show your
care and support to a local Chinese family suffering from a
life-threatening disease.
You
may have already heard the sad story about Mr. Wei-ming Zhang,
a husband and father, has been diagnosed with pancreas cancer,
and has only a short time to live. Both he and his wife have
lost their incomes, and the family has no savings. They
desperately need some help from us both financially and
emotionally.
To
show our sympathy and care as a community, NWCHP (Northwest
Chinese Hi-Tech Professional Association) has teamed up with
numerous local Chinese organizations to organize a charity
fundraising musical performance on
April 19, 2003,
and all of the proceeds will be donated to Mr. Wei-ming
Zhang's family.
Many
famous singers, dancers and artists in the Greater Seattle
area have volunteered to perform. This wonderful two-hour
musical program is followed by a ballroom dance party. Please
see attached (in Chinese) for more details on the event.
Please
make a special effort to come to our special event to show
your support. Let’s work together to show our love not only
to this needed family but also to the whole Seattle-area
Chinese community. "Only if everyone contributes a little
Love, will the world become a much better place to live......"
