Communicate Persuasively

 

How to present yourself, your ideas, as well as your products and services persuasively…so that people listen and grow thirsty for what you have to offer. Tips on one-to-one communication with voice and body language, speaking confidently before groups, giving status reports, explaining your ideas to both technical and non-technical project members, and using formats that persuade people to accept, agree, and buy.

              Bellevue

              Merrill Lynch conference room in Bellevue.

Date: Dec. 13th, 2001

Time: 6:30pm - 7pm registration/social time

         7 pm - 9 pm speech
Food: Snack/Coffee would be provided.

Fee: 5$/person

Parking: on streets nearby, or under the building.

 


 

Bio of speaker: Michael Buschmohle, President of APPLAUSE! Associates, teaches a popular workshop nationwide called “Making Horses Thirsty: Persuasion in Print and in Person.” He leads workshops twice a month for the Microsoft IT Group, teaches at Bellevue Community College, and will teach for City University in Beijing, China in January 2002. He is an author of a book on PowerPoint 2002, a cartoonist, speech writer, and a former Catholic priest.
