Tips on one-to-one communication with voice and body
language, speaking confidently before groups, giving
status reports, explaining your ideas to both
technical and non-technical project members, and using
formats that persuade people to accept,
agree, and buy.

Bio of speaker: Michael Buschmohle, President of
APPLAUSE! Associates, teaches a popular workshop
nationwide called “Making Horses Thirsty: Persuasion
in Print and in Person.” He leads workshops twice a
month for the Microsoft IT Group, teaches at
Bellevue Community College, and will teach for City
University in Beijing, China in January 2002. He is an
author of a book on PowerPoint 2002, a cartoonist,
speech writer, and a former Catholic priest.
