Susan Yi is a practicing CPA licensed in the State of Washington.  She is a Certified Valuation Analyst and works with clients on business valuation issues for various purposes, such as the buy/sell agreement, divorce, gifting and estate planning, loss of income and dissolution of partnership.  She also works closely with corporate clients as well as individuals and families to help them with tax issues and general business and tax planning.

Chris Brown, Attorney at Law, Garvey Schubert Barer

Chris Brown is an owner in the Seattle-based law firm Garvey Schubert Barer.

His practice focuses on federal and international tax issues. He frequently represents start-up and closely-held companies on issues such as entity choice, debt versus equity and investments, compensation matters, tax compliance and succession planning. He also assists individuals with tax controversy issues and cross-border tax planning. In addition, Chris has experience addressing the tax needs of large enterprises and public companies. He previously worked at one of the Big-4 accounting firms as a manager of international tax in San Jose, California. Prior to becoming an attorney, Chris worked as a business journalist in Hong Kong and Taiwan for four years, mainly writing about the computer business and trade issues.

Before jointing Merrill Lynch, Peter was Vice President and Managing Director for China at a US multinational firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He was responsible for market development in China and Southeast Asian countries. He also served as Managing Director for US-China Joint Venture Firm based in Hong Kong. In 1980’s Peter worked on various positions for an international trading firm based in USA.
